My first try. It's really hard to tell whether it's easy or difficult when you know the answers so I appreciate any feedback.

At first glance I thought it looked like nonsense & nearly passed it by....WRONG. It's actually a really good grid. Only got 2 groups right in the time. Makes total sense. The groupings aren't too obscure, but they are hard to figure out quickly. Enjoyed it.

Liked it and did okay but I thought Bing,Ring,Ding,Bong were all noises a bell could make - and I still think that could be a viable answer.

3 of the groups are too similar (add letters).

A nice idea. A pity that there is not a unique solution:
Linger/Ringo can be interchanged with Ringer/Lingo.
Jingle/Dingo can be interchanged with Dingle/Jingo.
Linger/Single/Dingo can be interchanged with Singer/Dingle/Lingo.
etc

Thanks a lot for the comments; I think you're right about being too similar and I didn't know whether the overlapping solutions would make it good or annoying. Thanks again.

Hey ZBJ. Really nice idea. It's always good to have lots of potential red herrings in there, clues that might fit into more than one group. But in the end, as Red Salamander points out, there should be just one final solution that works for all the groups. Keep trying though!

Too many word groups - vary them or your walls will stay awful
