Rubbish!
Finding the groups was trivial. Guessing what random words would fit the groups was pot luck.

You see, this is why I stopped making grids. Unfriendly, unhelpful butt hurt comments from people who didn't get all the answers. They imply they see themselves as superior to whoever set the grid they're criticising . It's not that easy compiling a grid and I'm grateful to those that do, imperfect as some may be. If this type of thing annoys some people so much, maybe it's not for them. If this was a face to face thing, they wouldn't be half as rude.

Thought this was OK... opted for clothing rather than shirt, but can live with that. Grugen has made a very fair point.

Most of the complaints would go away if it weren't for the "guess the connection" system. It is nigh impossible to anticipate all the ways someone will phrase a correct answer, even if you go for verb stems and such. I have taken to playing the grid, shooting for 4/10, and then just saying my answers out loud and checking the intended answers, giving myself the points mentally if it seems close enough. It's not like there's a leaderboard or anything.

Gridding is fun- let's keep it that way and not get tied up in unfair and rude comments.

Grugen: I appreciate your speaking up, but I'm hardly offended by what people say. I appreciate that people leave feedback, and most users are quite kind. When they're not, I try to learn from whatever their complaints are. It's all good!

JonBob: this is *exactly* how I look at it. The 'guess the connection' system is just something that I end up doing mentally more often than not, just because it's too hard to predict every possible acceptable answer but you know in your heart when you got it right.
