The fact that the clue is written Ts rather than T's made that connection more difficult

Why would Ts have an apostrophe? It is neither a possessive nor a contraction.

A subject of intense debate in the apostrophe world, FirstG. I had this issue in a grid I made. When referring to letters, (plural of), the accepted form for lowercase is to use an apostrophe eg. t’s. Uppercase ones are more controversial - it depends on what source you use for reference. It’s made worse here because in this puzzle it comes from the expression ‘dot the i’s and cross the t’s’ - referring specifically to lowercase letters. But the format for the grid says the first word must be a capital. Soooo... pick the bones out of that :-))

Exactly. Plus, I didn't say which is right and wrong, I merely stated the fact that I believe the connection is more difficult to spot the way it is written
