Sly-1 is possibly the best clue I’ve seen... still didn’t get it. Was thinking stallon, whatever that is? 😀

Really good idea, but some of the clues don't quite work or I don't understand them even after getting links (fryer for pan? will of the bull's maze - I'm guessing this is pan's labyrinth, but there's no bull in that, and it's the same Pan as the deity? why is learner's bane "stall"? what's a poker king or a tiger shot?)

I'll start putting in more explanations in future.

Fryer as in Frying Pan. Original clue should have been Fryer's Tool but I must have cut it short when typing. Apologies.

The literal English translation Guillermo del Toro is William of the Bull. He directed Pan's Labyrinth.

Low Tiger Shot is a golf shot called a punch. Tiger is a clue to the golfer Tiger Woods.

Sly-1 is indeed brilliant. A real slow bullet that hit me as I was filling the kettle about an hour afterwards

Yours are always great fun but some of these clues as people say were a little bit obscure- possible to decode but not your usual elegance. Still WAY better than most in my humble! :)
