@Ic I had to look those up too. The brown recluse is a spider, and a brown dwarf is a type of star

TCR: "Precious gems" can be used meaningfully in a sentence. For instance, taken from Mental Floss: "Alongside the world’s precious gems (diamond, ruby, sapphire, and emerald) are numerous semi-precious stones, some of which are so incredibly rare that their value outstrips many of the world's most valuable precious gems."
