Samoa's wrong

@grmb - yes - sorry... should have been in the star group and US should have been in red-white-blue group...

.. hold on - no - still right: if you count in that the star's white in Samoa's flag, it is red-white-blue :-)

I'm assuming it IS your first go but... I find it really off putting when a grid is all one thing, either proper nouns or similar, and usually leave it and don't bother as there's so many possible ways to go and no starting point to get to grips with

Very disappointing. I thought there would be a group of UK, USA, Syria and Russia; connection - all run by dickheads!! :-)

The trouble with grids like this, particularly with countries, is there are just so many possible connections. Its very difficult to get a start. Good for a first effort though.

I kinda like wrestling hopelessly with the ‘single subject’ grids but they have to have unique connections for each grouping. As you point out yourself, firstgo, Samoa can fit into two groups. Don’t let this put you off...
And hubby’s grouping is perfect!
