Actually, it used to be Ed, so either is OK.
Thank you for educating me. Now I know about scary worms, dough balls, French Santa, and the full name of the Bottom bloke.
I also heard for the first time of that particular duck, though I plan to forget that again as soon as possible. All in all, this deserves its fiendish ranking.

"Bobalki" is a very rare spelling for the dumplings (to the extent that as a native Slovak I did not recognize it). The most common name for the food is actually "opekance", that's what you would find in a dictionary. In some regional dialects the food is called "bobáľky" or sometimes "bobaľky" (or "pupáky"). The i instead of y at the end is not grammatical in Slovak - except for maybe one specific dialect that will pronounce the last letter as i instead of y.
