Loved the idea of airport codes and being able to hide them among acronyms! Rest a bit too obscure for me though.

A cat is not a siege weapon. It is used like a whip to flagellate. It has multiple straps and generated the idiom: no room to swing a cat.

Excellent grid with some tricky crossovers. Good balance across different areas of knowledge. I liked it although I struggled slightly.

The least obscure set was the medieval weapons, and even there, the cat is pretty obscure. It also does not go well with the others as they are all personal weapons, and the cat is a siege weapon.
