Really good and well thought out.
Doesn't need to contain lots of abstruse stuff to be interesting and demanding

Enjoyed. Thought the gun parts were music.

Completed the grid but did'nt get the animals connection enjoyable nonetheless

Nice grid. But as previously stated these are homophones (different spelling and meaning bud sound the same) not homonyms (same spelling but different meaning)

pammy

Penalised for putting the correct answer - i.e. homophones of animals. Marked as incorrect - poor wall!!!

Hoarse is not a homophone of horse. Need I say any more?

H unit is correct, hoarse and horse are not homophones.
The vowel sound in hoarse is like "oar" - the thing you row with.
The vowel sound in horse is "or" - the word for an alternative.

Cho
Homonyms have the same spelling. Homophones are the ones here (different spellings but sound the same).

Tricky start but once it clicks it's a really fun one to work out.

or and oar are also homophones! I suppose it could be an accent thing? This was an easy, I think. Well constructed.

Should accept Indigenous as that is currently the correct term - Native American is considered outdated.

this is so stereotypical as to be verging on racist

a ewe is a female sheep, but not really an animal in the sense that the others are
(4 years, 8 months ago)
Kuba
bunch of nitpickers in the comments. Need some cheese with your whine? Of course a ewe is an animal as much as the others. And a homonym = homophone. And there is nothing racist about the fact that some words are derived from native american languages.
Great grid.
