The "gone" group also works with "out". I thought "rock out" and "smooth out" were red herrings :)

Not sloppy- Soooo easily done- most words that that seem like obvious candidates for a prefix group share the double edged sword of being applicable to lots of other prefixes and vice versa- easy prefixes could fit too many words or swap with another- things like non, con, re, de etc are so common. Harder to work with than they look! Keep up the excellent work :)

Good board, we think 'off' would be acceptable for the 'gone' clue - hand off, play off, gone off, cast off?
