5/10 Freddgar, I ventured into soozy's tortured mind, and feel mauled. Have to point out teeny weeny error re 48th state, not that either would have helped me as it happens (sure I saw Dame Edna in there somewhere. Also convinced golf was there also e.g portion/slice, card suit/club and portion/wedge again. Much fun, thank you Soozy

ty stjohn, no matter how many times I check I always manage a blooper! I think by the time I have typed it all in my mind is a mush :))
and mauled!!! I have to go and lay down in a darkened room after one of yours ;)

H - take a screen shot and work them out first, forget the 3 minutes, just have fun with them.

first thing I do is screen shot, if feeling brave I might attempt with a couple of refreshes. x

Too obscure for me. Let’s do crypticity by all means but the solutions should cover fairly common knowledge base. Well thought out though.

3/10 - could work out the connections from a few of the clues, but my mind can't work fast enough in the 3 minutes! Great grid :)
