There are alternative solutions to this one. Example.....

Swap Tie with Bead and the connections could still be two vowels with the other one being words you can add a letter to make another word.

When the words are this short, almost every word is one you can add a letter to to make another word.

Exactly my point. There are numerous "correct" solutions to this grid making it a poor grid.

I literally gave you advance notice that the grid was silly.

So when you post "silly" in future we know it means it has lots of possible solutions apart from the one you chose....at least we know.

I've done "one big false group" grids before myself, so I know how much work they are. This was super fiendish; up to your usual extremely high quality- it all worked, the information was right there in front of people, I absolutely cannot fault it. Fair and ingenious and nigh impossible! 5*
