hi All- Jmelb, st john and I are being trolled, so that we do not appear on the front page (3*+) I don't give a rats about my score, but it's a shame if all our hard work goes unplayed- I think people should have a choice. Please play the grids and rate them- fairly. To those who don't like them, please just avoid ours, rather than bullying people off the site- be a grown up and learn to share- there are plenty of grids for all tastes, leave each to their own. Wow- thanks Nighteyes- that especially means a lot coming from you, as you were amongst the first to offer advice when I started out. I should like to echo the comments from Lorna. As she says Nighteyes was the kindly mentor when she first taking part, so when I joined PuzzGrid at the start of lock down in March/Apr, my adopted mentor was soozy, who was before me mentored by Lorna and if I may say Jmelb [the real J] has also taken to you. This baton has been passed on you say from Nighteyes [and from his/her predecessors?]. There are some really good people here and some really good new[ish] setters Yerum, Ducky and Kuba [to name but a few] as well as stalwarts such as LittleQuill and SmileyMiley. Hear, hear. I started submitting due to lockdown too. However over the years I have dropped in to play grids from time to time. Soozy does sound familiar to me. I have already encountered lovely people and am amazed at the ingenuity of some. I'm not too good but really appreciate the opportunity to have a go and keep myself occupied.
