Five stars for introducing me to the word 'psychopomp'

i think the Grim Reaper played centre half for Blackburn Rovers in the 1960-70s - i remember being tackled by him in a local derby when i played for Accrington Stanley, the referee booked him and when he asked why he said 'For attempted murder' .....ahhh those were the days

The 'Phsycopomps' category was so interesting! I connected them all but that one at the 'Tristan & Isolde' ones were just a good guess and I didn't get the link!!

nice one! I am also a big fan of the word psychopomp. I nearly wrote it as the answer, but didn't dream it would actually be there!

for those not familar with the word pschopomp, a wider range of acceptable answers would be good

The legend of the Grim Reaper originates from the Nickelodeon show "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy." These two kids Billy and Mandy have a friend that is like "death" personified and they hang out and stuff. The whole "Grim Reaper" thing took off from there I believe.
