Awful. Nothing wrong with it. Just impossible.

Can't decide if it's great or terrible. Saw 2 links in the wall - couldn't get 4 of anything in time. Saw 1 more link when groups were sorted. 2 things in the boomerang group were v. obscure. I should have been able to get the 4 in the v. obvious secombe group. V. good

Am I missing something with secombe? Is that commonly known? I got the other 3 in that group but have never even heard of it and when I’ve looked it up it doesn’t seem to fit with the rest of the group. Tough grid.

@ Fam Caecum (or Americanised as cecum), is part of the intestine. It's pronounced the same as Secombe as in Harry Secombe. It's definitely not uknown to non-medics or biologists. I knew it and I didn't even do biology GCSE, but I do watch Casualty and Holby City. I double checked the pronunciation of both Secombe and Caecum before I submitted (actually, I was going to swap Hare in instead of Secombe, but realised that would mean being very strict with the definition in the mole group, or ditching mole).

I meant to say ' not unknown to non-medics or non-biologists'

@dgms, that’s what I found out when I looked it up and was wondering if there was something else. Just seems a bit obscure when the other things you can at least see. I did ‘A’ level biology but admittedly I got a poor grade. Perhaps I would have been better off watching Casualty :-)

I got the Shakespeare group and the homophone group, but not the others. Still i think this was a good grid.
