Had fun trying to work this out but didn’t get very far. Got the microphone line. Hammer line is actually very clear, I just missed one of the clues, and the deer line is clever. The only line that didn’t come across as clearly for me was the last one as I incorrectly thought the map element was significant for that clue, and I didn’t guess what the windows picture represented. Thanks for posting as I’m sure these picture grids take time!
Do they still give you the option, as the setter, to include a ‘give up’ function for the person doing the grid?

Thanks, Fam. No option on the edit page for quitting early or readjusting the time limit unfortunately. The map is the biggest herring here, perhaps too clever for its own good...

Excellent, many thanks. I got the actor and letters, but couldn't get the others (obvious and very well-clued though they were).

Thanks Jollycorpse. I realised afterwards that it was you who had set your first picture grid a few weeks ago so I hope you don’t mind, as then, any remarks which are in good spirit.
Personally I think the key with the picture grids is finding the images which most clearly convey the clue, without the need for red herrings. For example, I got your taxi clue and the picture of the bull is particularly appropriate, I just didn’t see the connection.
But I think you could get away with a less crafty picture than the map, and a more direct image than the windows one ( eg nail**** or paper**** ). Just personal opinion though. Please keep posting them 😀

7/10 for me 10/10 or 5* for you. Wondered why Timmy was there. Thankyou very much

There is a give up button on longer grids like this one -- let us know if it's not appearing!

@Puzzgrid, I don’t know if your comment was directed at the setter or the person doing the grid. I have seen the ‘give up’ button on some of SmileyMiley’s image grids, but I don't have that option on either of Jollycorpse’s grids.

Thanks folks. Hopefully it appears now. It was configured only for 10 minute grids but I was confused due to a complex implementation. Let me know if it doesn't/

@Puzzgrid 👍 it appears now. ( there is a mistype of ‘corrections’ rather than ‘connections’ on that page though 😉 ). Thank you!

Mister Tom
Full marks for both of us. The india map is better than just fine: it's a new _kind_ of herring.

Got totally hungup on the bird. Thought that was a chick and not a canary and my brain dissolved. Very well thought out. Nice misdirect with the hammer.

First picture grid I ever managed to get a tickertape on. Many thanks. I'm glad there was more time though, I only had 23 seconds left when I finally figured the Nato group.

Just discovered these picture grids - love them, especially yours. SPent ages on trying to link Africa, aeroplane and Timmy Mallett without success!
