Toughie. Derek line I got. My bad for thinking you were using letter homophones in Spain, and similarly for the short sleep. No wonder I struggled. Do not know "know how" and still don't as it is not in the answers but assume it is well known in US... All told I enjoy playing these and appreciate the effort. Thank you

Wow! Very good! I like these more "convoluted" ones, and I got the confetti on this grid. As a few others said, I guessed one or two, but got there in the end!

I got my confetti in the end but was thrown for a bit of a loop by the 'brilliant' line. Wouldn't that clue indicate an R and not a B? Enjoyable as always nonetheless
