Another great idea KPOT. I needed about ten minutes though. Managed 4/10 as it’s very hard if you can’t hazard a guess at the fourth clue. Would love more of these! Thanks!

Thanks. It does have a visual look of difficulty, but not that much different to the ones WV and you and others have done recently. The principle is the same. I don't know if you noticed but all 1st start with the letter in question and I tied to leave a clue in the 4th slots. As they are all numbered this reduces the risk of fumbling around too much. From these I thought it would lead one to the answer. Obviously I did not accept just the first letter.

Thanks KPOT. I picked up on the idea and the fourth clue quickly but hadn’t noticed about the first clue. It’s a great format. I guessed Crackling Good and Fore and worked backwards from there but for the others I didn’t know the final clue so I just worked with the remaining possible letters to try to form words that might fit.
