Btw, I read about the origins of the Mercedes name after your clue and it’s an interesting bit of trivia. Exciting last few races now! I’d actually not mind if Hamilton won now as he’s been fighting hard and it would be a great comeback story. Max played a bit dirty last week. It’s been a phenomenal season!

The FIA said that Max & Red Bull had nothing to answer for and Mercedes request for a review was thrown out.. I am not saying anyone would do anything underhand but.....Max not running Lewis off? How come he ended up so far off the track if he was turning into the corner and amazingly the onboard camera showing if Max turned the steering wheel was not available. Some sour grapes also from that nice man Christian Horner. 45 mins to go.

Boring race but championship very much alive and good to see Alonso on the podium. If Lewis takes the win and fastest lap with Max second next race they could go into the final race equal on points!

Just need to win the lottery and I’ll get a ticket for Abu Dhabi on the hone straight. One day.

@ Fam - I did not think the race was boring, it was like a chess game. I even shouted at the screen to bring Bottas in for a tyre change when he had about 23 secs advantage over Perez - did they listen to me? like hell and four laps later BOOOM flat tyre. Poor tactics from Mercedes.

@St John, but I don’t mind that as it’s brought Merc and RB closer together in the constructor’s championship. I was probably more anxious about Alonso’s tyres hanging out.
If you end up working as a tactician for Mercedes can you get me a ticket? 😀

😄 I’m making do with Now Sports membership for now! I’ve spent enough on daily sports passes to have covered a ticket somewhere! ( albeit the cheap seats ). I used to watch it at work, or even just watch the highlights, but every race has been too important this season to not watch live. Italy was one of my favourites.
