A clever grid and enjoyable, but contains at least two words that would count as 'specialised' vocabulary, which is why I marked the quality down a bit. The difficulty should come from the composition, not from introducing words 9/10 people won't know.

Got just 2 out of 10 as despite numerous attempts I couldn't get the pepper group to gel. Great grid - the epitome of how it should be and I really loved it.

Not a bad grid apart from the two unusual words which rely on obscure knowledge rather than working things out.

I love to learn new things, but 3 obscurities in one grid (shawm, copita, and chimney) is pushing it, even for me. Thanks for the lesson, Miss. 🤗
