Love the French connection but slight issue with "REAMS" as a clue as I can't see how this sounds like Reims? The closest English word I can think of is probably "Rants". Also am I missing something, what's a French Letter?

@BF, that's how most English-speakers would pronounce the place name, having probably never heard it said correctly. If you don't know what a French Letter is I suggest you just google it.

I swear I did Google it (I understand the suggestion as many wouldn't, but I'd never have asked without checking first ha) but only got translations of the word Letter or other irrelevant info. I searched more and eventually found it, I'm unfamiliar with the term but fair enough. With regards to Reims, it feels odd to use that when all the others are just the straight French pronunciation. I would assume the CANS was a red herring for Cannes being mispronounced. It would make a better quiz answer with all French pronunciation I think, eg use RANTS or another one like PARRY maybe.
