I appreciate the effort, but something like this is near impossible to solve under time-constraint. It is always worth keeping in mind that the participants have no idea what they will be looking for and have three minutes to find it.

If they have to solve 16 riddles and still have 30 seconds left afterwards to sort them, that gives them 9 seconds per riddle.

It is fine to throw a cryptic clue or three in there, but I think 16 is stretching it due to the time-constraint.

I looked and looked but did not succeed like a budgie. An awesome puzzle, one which you clearly put a lot of thought and effort into. A grid to admire. TY
