Really easy, why is this one marked as hard??

Never heard of Simon King.

Unfortunately I hadn't heard of most of the Simons so that made that group hard for me to get. But a very nicely constructed grid even so.

Your possible answers for the group including pardon is very limited. You may want to expand to church, religious.

@J Thanks for the feedback. I've added 'church'. I wanted to keep the definition fairly narrow because I need to exclude 'monk' and 'friar' from that group.

@Hob Thanks. One or two of the Simons might be obscure, but Callow and Baker are both fairly well-known actors, I thought? It's always hard to know what level of knowledge to assume with these.
