Very clever, although I think the English county grid is tenuous. It doesn't really mean 'de-seat rider' (even if that's often the result) and it doesn't apply to all male mammals. I enjoyed it, though.

Some people take this way too seriously (Malcolm!). It's a bit of fun for goodness sake. Just be grateful people take the time to make and submit grids and if you’ve nothing nice or constructive to say, just move on. Thank you for the grid Trix.

Yes it’s for fun - but grid setters generally want to be accurate and several acknowledge feedback and even edit grids to improve them - and in this case my own feedback is to say I also found the “county” connection tenuous

Trix sets good grids usually and this was a largely a good grid too - and I do enjoy the clue based ones like it - but it’s not Trix’ best because of that group
