Not really Rubberlisa it's just that they have universal appeal and would be known to most people which makes the grid a bit more accessible, I'm more of an Alabama 3 or Joe Bonnamassa man myself. Thanks for the observation anyway. Got to run now because it's been a hard day's night.

OK grid. "corner states" is obscure - not many red herrings

Messy, difficult and extremely good fun.

An absolute masterpiece. The fact that red herrings do not abound makes this eminently achievable while the difficulty of some of the clues makes it massively frustrating. Blues, I'll have a bowl of whatever you had when you woke up this morning.
