Thanks for posting these. Yours are far more challenging than the NYT. For your first grid, I figured out 2 categories, this one only 1, partially due to not knowing C was a bird and not knowing one of the characters. I think I have only missed one set in NYT. since the first day. I look forward to doing better with yours (hopefully) in the future. I agree with one comment below, I don’t like the time restriction, I get more stressed when I have a clock ticking away than a limit on options, on the flip side, I do like the ability to get some wrong in the beginning and have not been strategic enough with those opportunities so far. Looking forward to trying my new strategy with yours tomorrow!!

These were pretty challenging ones, but I’m going to make some that are a little easier.
One funny thing, I hadn’t realized, a cassowary actually has a little tiny tophat, or at least it looks like it. My sister thought that that was part of that category.
One thing you can do is take a screenshot, and then you don’t have to rush

For flightless birds, there is a more precise category: rattites.
