Don't think I agree there. "Sweet" by itself is not a member of that category, but "sweet potato" is. If the "potato" is a problem (and the only reason I can see that it would be is that it makes the puzzle easier), then replace the whole term with another one. There are loads you could pick from.

Really love this grid. I think the grid is perfect like it is, and I would disregard GrinnAlien's suggestion.

Great grid but maybe think about accepting chips for fries, as that's what we call them in the UK

I know that chips are roughly a translation for fries here, but there are no waffle chips or shoestring chips here, so the differentiation makes sense.
