Some nice ideas, let down by (given some of the groupings) arbitrary and inconsistent logic.
In cribbage, if you are including points for nobs/heels (which you have to to reach the given 29) then the maximum is 30.
Again, allowing for setup (as is required for the tennis answer) , the maximum break in snooker is 155 (free ball + black followed by regular 147).
The letters group in tenuous in the extreme.
And I have no idea (despite getting the group) how 1000 times Booby Vee's night of a thousand eyes gets you down to one eye rather than up to one million.
So, nice concepts, piss poor execution.

Jrandomuser, firstly this is just a bit of fun, secondly there is nothing arbitrary or inconsistent about the logic as far as I could see, which I have to concede was not very far due to an alcoholic haze.
The numbers all refer to the words within the clues, this is a long held tradition in crossword compilation.
Cribbage... If you are able to score 30 in cribbage then you stand alone from the card playing masses of this planet. I raise a glass in your general direction.
Snooker... I accept that it's possible to score higher than 147 in a single visit to the table in snooker. This though is really irrelevant because the clue was designed to give you (the solver ) a gateway into the grid and the reference to "147 snooker" would register as a maximum score in most people's minds.
I thank you for thinking the concepts were nice.

Think the link on the red group is meant to be just eyes, with the number each thing has given in front. 1 is given in front of the things that have one eye so it’s correct that 1000 is given in front of Bobby Vee’s night.

The tennis one is a) obscure (cf bowling a snooker, where it's the main objective) and b) WRONG:
By the same token of being 5-0 down in the first, you could be 2 sets and 5-0 down in the third. Therefore your answer would be 31 games in a row.

I really liked this- as far as I'm concerned, as long as little inaccuracies don't detract from the game play, they're fine by me, and thegame scores stood out a mile anyway! Cheered me up while I'm stuck at home feeling sick, that's the main thing! Thank you for taking the time to compile this.
