Very good grid, with just the right amount of overlap and red herrings. Very well done. Slight cheat on 'Wings', but I accepted it as part of the fun.

yeah, i got the McCartney-wings reference, but it makes no sense in the context. Also i don't really think jet makes sense either. Also, i don't think 'story' is a type of story. Still not bad though.

The Paul McCartney wings thing is fine- it's the same word. A jet is well known word for a jet engined aeroplane- so that's fine too. What's not fine is that I failed to spot 'fruit' ...doh...

Loved the McCartney clue! But I'd argue that as bat and fly can fit in both Fruit and Wings and could therefore be interchangeable that this doesn't work. There should only be one way of arranging the clues to fit

Not accepting "legend" for the red category and using "story" as the definition when one of the words IS "story" is a bit sketchy.

My first attempt at one in the hard category. Found all answers but got one connection wrong in the cocktail group. Those who speak of not liking interchangeable answers are missing the whole point of the game!

Intentionally avoided "story" in description since it's one of the clues. Not well thought out game design. That said, I thought the wings category was good.
